Since ads start to show up for your targeted keywords as soon as you make a bid on that keyword, it’s not out of the question to see more traffic to your website within the first week of starting your Google ads campaign.
Google ads ensure that you take up valuable real estate at the top of a results page, which helps you to gain more traffic to your website.
In fact, on average, 41% of clicks go to the top three paid ads that show up on search engine results pages. That means that ad clicks account for nearly half the clicks that are made on the first page of results.

Is it worth paying for Google ads?
The reason that this type of advertising works is that it helps you show up in places where you wouldn’t ordinarily be see, in other words, it increases visibility.
Google Ads puts you on the map and shows people that your business is an option, even if it’s not exactly what they thought they were looking for.
Google Ads can help you optimise your advertising campaign and help you not only attract a higher number of customers but have them be the right ones.
They catch people in a key moment of the buying decision, such as after they know they want to buy something, but just aren’t sure where.
Choose your Google ads plan
Why should you hire a Google ads agency?
Google ads management is an ongoing process. It’s not just a “set it and forget it” strategy that picks up momentum over time, rather it requires constant adjustments to see the best results.
If you’re a business owner that spends their time managing accounts, ordering inventory, and managing a business, it’s unlikely that you have time to run a Google ads campaign.
That’s where agencies come in. Hiring a Google ads agency to manage your campaign is one of the smartest business moves you can make, since you likely won’t have all the time necessary to dedicate to nourish your Google ads campaign.
How much are you charged for a click on your Google ads ad?
Unfortunately, there’s no easy, one-size-fits-all answer. The most common (and frustrating) answer is, “It depends.”
The cost of Google Ads depends on several variables. You set up a maximum you want to pay, and Google can spend up to 20% more for the month.
The average cost per click will also vary depending on your target market. In highly competitive industries, such as insurance, Google ads can cost as much as $50 per click. Even a small monthly budget of $1,000 can bring an excellent ROI.
We will tailor a Google ads campaign to your goals, budget and target market.
Where can your Google ads appear?
Where your Google Ads will appear depends on some configuration factors. The ad types you’ve selected will be a major determining factor as to where your ads will appear.
Google search sites: Ads can appear above or below search results on Google Search. They can appear beside, above, or below search results on Google Play, Google Shopping and Google Maps, including the Maps app.
Google search partners: Ads might appear with search results on websites of Google search partners. For text ads, search partners include hundreds of non-Google websites, as well as Google Video, and other Google sites.
You can also choose to show your ads to people as they browse the web. Your text, image and video ads can appear on the Google Display Network.
What is the difference between SEM and PPC?
SEM is the umbrella term for PPC and SEO. Its goal is to achieve maximum results in promoting a brand via search, a blend of paid-for and organic strategies are recommended.
PPC is a type of digital marketing in which advertisers pay a fee each time one of their ads is clicked.
How does remarketing work on Google?
Remarketing with Google connects with people who previously visited your website. It allows you to position ads in front of these visitors as they browse google or its partner websites. Allowing you to remind those visitors to make a purchase.
What percentage of Google ads are clicked?
According to Wordstream 64.6% of people click on Google Ads when they are looking to buy an item online. We love SEO, but it’s a slower process. Think of Google Ads as your way to go for more immediate results.
What companies use Google ads?
Google Ads are renowned for the phenomenal results it delivers to a variety of different types of businesses. You’re targeting consumers who are ready to buy. Consumers browsing online, credit card in hand. The results speak for themselves.
What’s the difference between broad, phrase, exact and negative matches?
Keyword match types help control which searches on Google can trigger your ad. So you could use broad-match to show your ad to a wide audience or you could use exact match to hone in on specific groups of customers.
- Broad-match Broad-match is the default match type that all your keywords are assigned. Ads may show on searches that include misspellings, synonyms, related searches and other relevant variations. So if your keyword is ‘women’s hats’, someone searching for ‘buy ladies hats’ might see your ad. Learn more about broad-match
- Negative keywords Exclude your ads from showing on searches with that term. So if you’re a hat company that doesn’t sell baseball caps, you could add a negative keyword, designated with a minus sign (-baseball caps). Learn more about negative keywords.
- Broad match modifier Similar to broad-match, except that the broad match modifier option only shows ads in searches which include the words designated with a plus sign (+women’s hats) or close variations of them. Learn more about the broad match modifier
- Phrase match Ads may show on searches that match a phrase, or are close variations of that phrase, with additional words before or after. Ads won’t show, however, if a word is added to the middle of the phrase, or if words in the phrase are reordered in any way. Designated with quotation marks (“women’s hats”). Learn more about phrase match
- Exact match Ads may show on searches that match the exact term or are close variations of that exact term. Close variants include searches for keywords with the same meaning as the exact keywords, regardless of spelling or grammar differences between the query and the keyword. Close variations here may also include a reordering of words if it doesn’t change the meaning, and the addition or removal of function words (prepositions, conjunctions, articles and other words that don’t impact the intent of a search), implied words, synonyms and paraphrases, as well as words that have the same search intent. Designated with brackets, the keyword [women’s hats] could show ads when someone searches on Google for ‘hats for women’. Learn more about exact match

What is the difference between Quality Score and Impression Share?
The quality score is between 1-10 and is reported for each keyword in your campaign. It is an estimate of the quality of your ads and the landing pages connected to them. These factors determine your quality score.
The impression share is the percentage of impressions your ads receive compared to the total number of impressions your ads could possibly get.
Impression share is a good way to understand whether your ads might reach more people if you increase your bid or budget.
Is Google Maps part of Google ads?
Google maps ads are a powerful way to target nearby customers. Running Google maps ads makes it easy for people to get to your location.
If my competitor starts clicking on my ads do I have to pay for those clicks?
This is a very common question. These types of clicks fall under the invalid clicks category with Google ads. m\Manual clicks by competitors intended to increase your advertising costs or to increase profits for website owners hosting your ads will be automatically detected and you will not pay for them.
If Google or you discover that invalid clicks have escaped automatic detection, you may be eligible to receive a credit for those clicks. These credits are called “invalid activity” adjustments.
What is the difference between cost per click (CPC) and cost per Impression (CPM)?
CPM bidding is the most common option for businesses who are targeting the Display Network, as this is the best option if you are trying to increase or improve your brand visibility.
In most cases people will generally use CPC bidding as it is designed for the Search Network.
